About MCI

MCI is looking for a certified Sage 300 People consultant with at least 4 - 5 years experience who is able to support our existing client base as well as assist with sales and new implementations.

The candidate will be required to implement the Sage 300 People software including installation, setup, training, support and report writing. This role offers lucrative incentives and benefits.

Activities will include:

  • Understanding client requirements.
  • Implementation of the Sage 300 People software including scoping, guidelines, requirements, data handling, roll out and support.
  • Providing training and support to clients.
  • Project management: Ability to deliver on time on budget.
  • Managing clients' requirements and expectations.
  • Providing analytical and insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Trouble shooting and providing solutions to clients.
  • Installation and setup of MS SQL.
Job Requirements

Requirements

  • 4 -5 years experience working as a Sage 300 People Implementation Consultant.
  • Experience with VIP Payroll and Sage 300 Payroll.
  • 4+ years' experience and understanding of SQL fundamentals and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • 4+ years' experience in MS Excel and VBA.
  • Experience in implementing the Sage 300 financial modules is beneficial.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be a Sage 300 People Certified Consultant.
  • A  tertiary qualification from an accredited university in Commerce.
  • A minimum 1st-year tertiary level in information systems or computer science.
  • SQL Certification.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
