The main purpose of the job is to prevent theft wherever possible; prevent losses from badly and incorrectly loaded vehicles; minimise shrinkage; ensure that the premises is secure.
Job Description
  1. Checking all goods leaving the premises (shop/yard)
  2. Checking all sales and returns to supporting documentation
  3. Ensures credit customers sign (POD’s) proof of delivery notes
  4. Ensures cash customers have paid for the goods
  5. Report any suspicious behaviour to management immediately
  6. Arrive timeously at post and adhere to company policies and procedures
  7. Complete vehicle checks before it enters the company to see what is on the vehicle
  8. Manage boom movement
  9. Completing the visitors book daily and accurately
  10. To uphold and promote the company values and culture
Job Requirements

Grade 12

1 year’s relevant experience in hardware
