Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Digital Transformation & Services Quality Assurance Specialist role plays a central role in safeguarding the quality and viability of ZANACO's digital banking projects and services. The role is responsible for ensuring quality assurance in the delivery and support of digital banking initiatives. It ensures that digital banking initiatives are fully aligned with revenue goals, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the digital banking project lifecycle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Quality Assurance: Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes for digital banking projects, ensuring all deliverables meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Service Quality Assurance: Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes for digital banking services, ensuring all digital channels meet established quality benchmarks.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Management: Design, lead, and execute comprehensive UAT plans for digital banking projects, ensuring all functionalities meet business requirements and user expectations in line with comprehensive risk management associated with testing.
  • Validations: Manage validation of UATs and enhancements in line with the set business objectives, regulatory compliance and IT security principles and frameworks.
  • Revenue Assurance: Analyze and validate the revenue/value impact of new digital banking initiatives, safeguarding alignment with revenue goals, business objectives and identifying potential gaps.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with digital banking projects, implementing effective controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Audit Management: Manage and track digital banking related risk and audit items, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Reporting & Communication: Effectively communicate UAT results, risk assessments, and audit findings to stakeholders, providing clear recommendations for action.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • University degree In Computer Science/IT/Business IT or relevant discipline.
  • Risk and Project certifications will be added advantage.
  • Minimum five  (5) years relevance experience in a banking or Fintech environment.
  • Experience in payment systems development, digital banking, mobile money and Fintech product development processes will be an added advantage.
