OBJECTIVES

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB


• Monitor site activities to ensure proper execution of works and adherence to specifications and standards.
• Review and approve material and method statements in accordance with project standards.
• Maintain documentation for inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
• Train and guide site teams on quality standards and best practices.
• Prepare site for CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System and QM assessments, including mock-up reviews and scoring strategy.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance quality performance.
• Team Coordination:
         Acquaint project personnel with QA requirements and arrangements.
         Audit and monitor QA systems for compliance and effectiveness.

SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems:
This includes understanding how these systems interact and function, as well as being able to diagnose and resolve issues.
Proficiency in testing and inspection:
The Manager need to be able to conduct tests, inspections, and quality control checks to ensure systems are functioning as intended.
Understanding of building codes and safety regulations:
This ensures that projects meet all required safety and regulatory standards. 
Documentation skills:
Creating clear and concise documentation, including test reports and operation manuals, is a critical part of the role. 

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills:
The ability to evaluate data, identify issues, and develop solutions is vital. 

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills:
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.

QUALIFICIATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of experience in QAQC roles within the construction industry. (Specific experience in the data centre industry will be an advantage).
Minimum of one project experience in a QAQC managerial role
