About the role

Are you a creative and driven individual with a proactive attitude? Do you possess strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills? Smollan is looking for Sales Associates to join our dynamic team in Cape Town and Gauteng.

In this target-driven role, you will be instrumental in creating impactful campaigns across various media channels, helping our clients achieve their business objectives. You'll provide personalized service, strategic thinking, and creative solutions that drive measurable success, focusing on new media opportunities with FMCG brands through a consultative and relationship-based approach.

This is a fast-paced environment where you'll make accurate client recommendations, adapt to changing priorities, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. F

What you'll do:

  • Client Support & Relationship Building: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, offering responsive and proactive support.
  • Media Campaign Building: Develop and present best-in-class and bespoke media campaigns that meet supplier and client objectives.
  • Timeline Management: Oversee project timelines and deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (media proposition, operations, creative) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Accuracy and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline information in systems and provide accurate updates for internal meetings and forecasting.
  • Campaign Reporting: Understand post-campaign analysis reports to inform future activations.
