Job Description

Senwes is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor: IT to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the optimal auditing of IT processes to ensure effective risk management, compliance, and governance within the organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on IT audits by identifying key risks, developing audit programmes, and ensuring high-quality audit delivery. This includes engaging stakeholders, reviewing audit work, addressing queries, and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and structured audit documentation by compiling, indexing, and cross-referencing audit evidence and working papers.
• Support the audit process through drafting reports, clearing review notes, and coordinating with management to validate findings and obtain feedback.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: BCom Degree in Accounting/Finance. Completed and signed off SAICA articles. CISA Certification (beneficial). 
Experience: At least 1-2 years’ post articles experience.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to plan, organise, and manage audit documentation.
