Job Description

Agri Credit Solutions is seeking a Senior Manager: Credit to lead and manage the Credit teams responsible for the debtors functions of all the companies within the Senwes Group, including risk management and the strategic oversight of the evaluations and collections to improve the overall quality of Debtors for the Senwes Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Align credit strategies with business objectives while safeguarding the quality and sustainability of the credit book.
  • Credit collections, recoveries and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure strong governance through effective credit systems, controls, and documentation practices.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align credit strategies and optimise portfolio performance.
  • Lead and develop high-performing credit teams by setting clear expectations, building technical capability.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and experience: Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field. CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA, or similar qualification (advantageous). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Credit or Risk environment. Experience in the agricultural or financial services sector will be advantageous.

Skills: Strategic thinking and credit risk management. Financial analysis and interpretation. Stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Governance, compliance, and policy implementation. Data-driven decision making and reporting. Process optimisation. Commercial acumen and business partnering.
