Job Description
Senwes is seeking a Technology Support Technician (Level 3) responsible for the installation, configuration, analysis, identification, and remediation of technology defects at an infrastructure level. The role ensures the continued availability and optimal performance of critical IT components supporting end-user access and business operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide peer support by assisting with the installation, configuration, identification, analysis, and remediation of infrastructure-level technology defects to ensure optimal availability and reliability of critical business systems.
- Define, document, review, and execute standards and procedures aligned to enterprise operating frameworks to ensure governance and compliance of service outcomes.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute scheduled technology installation and configuration activities based on defined customer requirements to enable agreed functional outcomes.
- Perform ongoing maintenance, diagnosis, and resolution of faults on installed technology components to ensure continuous system stability and performance.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and experience: National Senior Certificate (Matric). Microsoft MCSE Training (advantageous). A+, N+ with Application and/or Technology Support General Expertise will receive preference. Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in a technology support environment.
Skills: Infrastructure troubleshooting and technical diagnostics. Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP). Hardware installation and configuration. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
