Are you a driven and tenacious sales consultant ready to elevate your career in a high-performing insurance brokerage team? We’re looking for experienced Senior Life Insurance Sales Consultants to join a customer-focused and compliant outbound sales environment.
Job Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct fact finds to understand the customers’ needs and motivations for life insurance
- Help customers find the right level of cover that meets their needs and is cost effective
- Deliver fair and positive customer outcomes
- Ensure high levels of compliance and maintain detailed and accurate call notes
- Maximize every opportunity on each call, whilst managing follow up callbacks where needed
- Maintain professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
- Support your team and contribute to a vibrant, success-driven culture
What You’ll Need:
Essential Experience:
- Proven success in outbound B2C telephone-based sales
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Demonstrated ability to assist customer in understanding how available products meet their needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and resilient under pressure
- Comfortable working in a structured and fast-paced setting
Desirable Experience:
- Previous insurance or financial services sales
- Mentoring experience
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Excellent rapport-building, listening, and influencing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong fact-finding ability
- Adaptable and customer-focused mindset
- Basic IT proficiency (computer skills, emails, call systems)
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Insurance industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential
