In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our field sales operations, ensuring execution excellence in-store, and contributing to the growth of our speciality foods portfolio across South Africa.
About the Role
At Vital, you’ll work closely with the sales team and retail partners to ensure seamless execution of promotions, stock availability, and in-store standards. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, thrives on organisation and coordination, and is motivated by delivering results on the ground. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the sales team, improving processes, and ensuring our brands show up at their best in-store.
Key Responsibilities
•Execute promotions and ensure strong in-store execution
•Coordinate and manage sales agents to achieve targets and ROI
•Build customer relationships and ensure correct ranging and pricing
•Use data to identify opportunities and grow market share
•Support product launches, promotions, and in-store displays
•Manage admin, reporting, and stock processes (orders, returns, claims)
•Monitor competitor activity and improve performance
•Train and support sales agents to drive results

This role is based in Nelspruit, and preference will be given to candidates currently residing in or near the area.
Qualifications & Experience:
•1 – 2 years’ experience in FMCG/pharmacy categories as a sales rep or agent.
•Experience of working with promotions (counter top promotions, broadsheet advertising, gondola displays etc.)
•Relevant tertiary education in marketing or sales.
•Code 8 Driver’s License.
•High-energy, competitive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
•Strong coordination and relationship-building skills across customers and sales agents
•Commercially aware with the ability to support in-store execution and drive sales performance.
•Confident communicator with the ability to influence, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively.
