Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join us in a Senior Engineering role, taking active ownership of architecture, code quality, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-stack development across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and SQL.
  • Build, optimise, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment.
  • Support Docker containerisation, infrastructure-as-code, cloud deployment, and environment management.
  • Diagnose production bottlenecks, lead root-cause analysis, and implement resilient fixes.
  • Mentor less-experienced developers through architectural guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate would be

  • Pragmatic about trade-offs between shipping speed, code quality and system stability.
  • Comfortable owning ambiguity — able to diagnose an unfamiliar system under pressure.
  • Generous with knowledge; makes the developers around you better.
  • Improvement-minded — you automate the thing you have had to do manually three times.

Job Requirements

Essential

  • 5–6 years of professional full-stack development and production support experience.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, React/Next.js, Node.js/Python and SQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • A track record of owning code through to production, not handing it over at merge.

Advantageous

  • AWS CloudFormation, Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code experience.
  • Jenkins or comparable CI/CD tooling.
  • Observability and release management experience.
