POSITION STATEMENT
To ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, and that the project's objectives are met to the right quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop Project kick off deliverables, e.g SoW and Charter.
- Ensure specifications, SOW and contracts are detailed and concluded properly.
- Identify project dependencies and manage accordingly.
- Set up weekly works order meetings to track and firm up target dates, including Gantt charts.
- Obtain relevant contractor documentation and monitor performance to project standards.
- Conduct risks assessments and adhere to quality management plans
- Organize required activities according to milestones and delegate to right resources.
- Track progress on relevant systems and ensure documentation in place.
- Monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained and performance is upheld.
- Effectively manage forecasting and scheduling requirements.
- Oversee the accounting, costing and billing outputs. Follow up on approval of invoices.
- Compile necessary reports and communicate to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Job Requirements
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project Management
- Proven track record and experience
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodology
- Extensive knowledge of Project Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting
- Project Management Tools and Techniques
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- Technical –Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Diploma in Project Management or PMP / Prince 2
