Are you detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy and clinical excellence? Mango5 is looking for an experienced Clinical Data Coordinator – Advanced to support global clinical trials by ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and compliance.

Role Overview:

As a Clinical Data Coordinator, you will lead data consistency efforts across assigned clinical studies. You’ll ensure that all data entered is accurate, protocol-aligned, and efficiently managed across Electronic Data Capture (EDC) platforms. As the first-tier escalation point for complex data issues, your role is critical to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently enter clinical data into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
  • Collaborate with clinical sites and data managers to resolve data queries in a timely manner
  • Review lab results to identify abnormalities or protocol deviations and escalate appropriately
  • Track patient visits, procedures, and follow-up schedules
  • Maintain GCP-compliant documentation of study-related communications and data
  • Communicate with patients and site staff on data status and subject compliance
  • Generate and manage eRegulatory documentation for ongoing studies
  • Build and update electronic source documents as required

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification is required
  • Medical degree or Diploma strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical data entry, data management, or administrative clinical support
  • Familiarity with clinical trial processes, EDC platforms, and data validation
  • Excellent process orientation with the ability to work across multiple systems and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical documentation standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of critical study components
  • Clear Criminal record
  • Willingness to work USA CST hours

Working Hours:

  • 45-hour work week with rotating shifts between 15:00 – 03:00
  • Rotating working days from Monday to Sunday to ensure consistent global support
  • Dynamic holiday policy aligned to international project timelines

Remuneration Structure:

  • Basic Salary: R21, 750 to R24, 750
  • Commission
  • Anniversary Bonus
