Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing project coordination and logistics support for the full range of functions managed by the department, including materials, events, websites, emails, SMSes, print advertising, out of home advertising, AV content, communications executions, digital and social media operations, and other campaigns.
  • Supporting the development of departmental content, by assisting with the researching and writing of copy
  • Supporting the roll-out of all departmental campaigns, ensuring the smooth operationalisation of quality, on-deadline projects
  • Ensuring efficient administrative support to the department
  • Assisting with the administration and processing of financial transactions
  • Maintaining relevant departmental records

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Politics or any related field (advantageous)
  • Experience in the field of Communications, Digital and Marketing, including advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media
  • Experience in basic financial management
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc)
  • Knowledge of online marketing tools 
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Apps Suite)
