To assist with the development and implementation of the governance, risk and compliance framework of the Agency and to support the Compliance Officer to manage the activities to ensure compliance with the regulations and the law.
Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

 The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in ensuring the monitoring of non-compliance with statutory obligations and compliance with internal policies.
  • Assist with the development and review of compliance risk management plans and checklists.
  • Assist with the compilation of monthly and quarterly reports on non-compliance with legislation and internal policies for consideration of the Compliance Officer.
  •  Assist with the monitoring of the implementation of the legislation and policy compliance programme.
  • Follow-up on action plans in response to non-compliance findings made.
  • Assist with regularly audits as and when required on policies, procedures, practices and documentation to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
  • Attend compliance related activities.
  • Provide compliance related training and awareness as and when required.
  • Taking minutes as and when required.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • A degree or NQF 7 qualification in Law/lnternal Audit/Risk Management. Certificate in Compliance Management will be an added advantage

Competencies:

  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and computer literacy
