Job Description

Purpose of the Job

Is to ensure that all mechanical work-related work is done and checked in accordance with OEM standards, wheel alignment is done | carried out and test drives are performed.

1. Automotive mechanical components. Fundamentals of a vehicle’s engine, gearbox and suspension

Ensure:

  • Automotive mechanical components are removed and replaced.
  • Wheel alignment, diagnostic and test drives are performed.
  • Understand the fundamentals of engine, gearbox and suspension technology.

2. Compliance with regulations

  • Ensure adherence to follow safety protocols to protect oneself, colleagues, and the environment. This includes using protective gear and handling materials responsibly.
  • Ensure consistency and professionalism in the work performed.
  • Ensure to adhere to the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure to deliver high-quality of mechanical work.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met.
Job Requirements

Critical Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in automotive industry
  • Matric
  • Trade test certificate
