Job Purpose
To design, develop, and facilitate learning interventions using a variety of training methodologies to build knowledge, skills, and competencies that enhance individual performance and overall organisational capability at iTalk International, specifically within Telco campaigns. The role is responsible for delivering these initiatives in alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives, ensuring that learning solutions effectively support operational performance and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitating Learning
• Provide input into the Training Needs Analyses process (through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives) and compile operational training plans.
• Scope and maintain L&D delivery project plans in line with operational requirements.
• Develop (or review) outcomes-based course material and learning interventions.
• Ensure seamless training delivery administration i.e. Training schedule development, communication with attendees, venue booking, production of learner manuals, ordering of learning aids, stationery, and equipment e.g., headsets etc.
• Facilitate and deliver learning interventions using a variety of blended learning methodologies to ensure achievement of required learning outcomes.
• Maintain and adhere to facilitation standards as outlined in the L&D QMS policies and procedures.
• Conduct Assessment and/or Moderation of learner Portfolios of Evidence.
• Track and report on implementation of operational training plans.
Evaluation of Learning Interventions
• Conduct pre and post training assessments to evaluate effective transference of learning in the operational environment.
• Provide input into the evaluation of the impact (ROI) and enhancement of learning interventions.
Reporting & Administration
• Capture, maintain and ensure data integrity of training records on L&D database and or relevant systems.
• Compile and submit weekly, monthly, bi- annual post training reports (i.e., Bottom Performers Report, Call Disposition report) and other ad hoc reports as required within agreed timelines
• Compile and maintain learner data input for Seta verification processes.
General
• May be required to attend meeting and/or perform duties as part of business model to meet campaign operational needs.

• Knowledge of South African learning and development legislation
• Facilitation experience of at least 3 years
• Retail experience will be an advantage
• Learning and Development or HR qualification
• Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Presentation and Facilitation skills. Effective writing and speaking skills in English and another official SA language
• Ability to drive critical, student-led dialogs about learning material.
• Excellent computer literacy in MS office (word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Experience of using digital technologies as a teaching tool will be an added advantage
Education
• Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
• Facilitation Certificate (Essential)
• O-DETDP Certificate (Essential)
• B.com in HR (Advantage)
• Graphic design certificate (Advantage)
• Marketing certificate (Advantage)
• FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list
• FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5)
• If you are registered for one Class of Business (Personal or Commercial) you are required to have 12 CPD (continuous professional development) points. If you registered for two (Advantage)
• Classes of Business (Personal plus Commercial), you required to have 18 CPD points. (Advantage)
Experience
• 3-5 years’ prior experience in a similar role
• Experience in the implementation of training programs and liaison with Services SETA
• Experience working with the SETAs
