Job Description

• Install and configure hardware and software components
• Repair or replace damaged hardware
• Upgrade systems to enable compatible software
• Install and upgrade antivirus software
• Travel to client sites
• Perform tests on new hardware and software
• Define software, hardware, and network requirements
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Configuration of Desktop PCs
• Configuration of network devices and network support
• Configuration of camera equipment and CCTV system support
• End user support
• Voice support and configuration

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 Qualification
• Diploma in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred
• A+ and N+ Certification, required
• Computer literacy:

  -        MCSA Certified

  -        Comp Tia A+ Hardware

  -        Comp Tia A+ Software

  -        Comp Tia Network+

  -        Wireless Network systems

  -        Network Architecture

  -        Desktop Support on Microsoft Software

  -        Configuring Windows 8/10/11

  -        Configuring and Installing Windows Server

  -        Maintaining Windows Server

  -        Configuring and Maintaining Hikcentral and other Hikvision products.

  -        Cisco CCNET Certificate will be advantageous

  -         CCNA or ACSA

• Experience troubleshooting systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiar with a range of software and hardware
• Willing to work Underground and at Heights
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Fibre Splicing knowledge
• Network maintenance and implementation knowledge
• 2 years telephone systems experience
• 2 years CCTV installation experience, preferably with Hikvision technologies
