Job Description
- Install and configure hardware and software components
- Repair or replace damaged hardware
- Upgrade systems to enable compatible software
- Install and upgrade antivirus software
- Travel to client sites
- Perform tests on new hardware and software
- Define software, hardware, and network requirements
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Configuration of Desktop PCs
- Configuration of network devices and network support
- Configuration of camera equipment and CCTV system support
- End user support
- Voice support and configuration
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 Qualification
- Diploma in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred
- A+ and N+ Certification, required
- Computer literacy:
- MCSA Certified
- Comp Tia A+ Hardware
- Comp Tia A+ Software
- Comp Tia Network+
- Wireless Network systems
- Network Architecture
- Desktop Support on Microsoft Software
- Configuring Windows 8/10/11
- Configuring and Installing Windows Server
- Maintaining Windows Server
- Configuring and Maintaining Hikcentral and other Hikvision products.
- Cisco CCNET Certificate will be advantageous
- CCNA or ACSA
- Experience troubleshooting systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiar with a range of software and hardware
- Willing to work Underground and at Heights
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Fibre Splicing knowledge
- Network maintenance and implementation knowledge
- 2 years telephone systems experience
- 2 years CCTV installation experience, preferably with Hikvision technologies
