Job Description

Main Objective:

  • To effectively promote Aspen's products, build and implement strategic plans within the Warsaw territory
  • Ensure the availability of Aspen’s products in healthcare facilities, actively shaping Aspen’s offer to public and private entities. Key entities include Hospitals, Hospital pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers with the designated area.
  • To report into the Commercial Lead Poland - Anesthesia and Woman's Health

Note: This role is a field based position and will require the job holder to be ideally based in the Warsaw area, to gain a better scope of the geographical area.

Job duties:

·         Plan and execute promotional activities for assigned products in alignment with brand strategy and compliance standards.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations (HCOs), including hospital procurement and pharmaceutical wholesalers.

·         Achieve sales targets and KPIs, contributing to business performance and market share growth.

·         Demonstrate strong knowledge of products, clinical data, therapeutic areas, promotion strategies, and the pharmaceutical market.

·         Navigate public procurement and tender processes within the Polish healthcare system and influence key hospital decision-makers.

·         Identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that support patient outcomes and align with business objectives.

·         Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, medical, marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless customer service and execution.

·         Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

·         Represent the company at industry events, congresses, and scientific meetings, strengthening brand presence and professional networks.

·         Keeping up to date with pharmaceutical law, policies and internal Aspen policies

·         Demonstrate and transmit the highest quality of information to physicians and pharmacists to communicate our products within the supported therapeutic areas with the hospital and retail sales arena.

·         Leading or supporting trade recommendations in line with strategic objectives.

·         Planning and conducting effective meetings in healthcare facilities. Managing client visits, sales model and promotional strategy to maximize sales efficiency.

·         Identify and pursue new opportunities within the assigned therapeutic area to grow market share and expand business with targeted HCPs and HCOs.

·         Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns, ensuring quick, compliant, and effective resolution of issues to maintain high satisfaction levels and HCO.

·         Efficiently dispose of promotional materials in accordance with the duration of promotional cycles and record this in accordance with applicable Aspen laws, regulations, and procedures.

·         Planning and updating the monthly reporting of activities and results, updating relevant sales database in line with Aspen’s requirements.

·         Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across the assigned region in the Warsaw area.

·         Providing clear communication on promotional content to internal and external stakeholders and adapting a business/sales language in accordance with the recipient.

·         Responsible for the implementation and documentation of all activities in accordance with the instructions received, obligations, procedures and policies of the Aspen Group, and local legal regulations.

·         Ability to facilitate moderate discussions and tailor presentations according to stakeholder presence.

Job Requirements

Core Requirements:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Sales Representative or Key Account Manager role within the pharmaceutical sector
• Strong knowledge of the Polish hospital market and hospital procurement/tender environment, including experience working with hospital pharmacies and key hospital stakeholders
• Good understanding of the Polish healthcare system and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks
• Communicative level of English (written and spoken), enabling effective participation in internal and external business communication

Preferred / Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of OTC, Rx (prescription), and Medical Devices market segments
• Experience working with retail/open pharmacies
• Knowledge of key therapeutic areas including Anesthesia and Women’s Health.
