Job Purpose:

To drive strategic goals through market opportunity identification, licencing partnerships, and cross- functional leadership that expands Wadeville  manufacturing  and commercial footprint.

Reporting to:

Head:New Business Development.

Key Job outputs:

  • Market Opportunity Identification: Research and assess potential markets, therapeutic areas, and product opportunities for volume expansion of the Wadeville Manufacturing Facility.
  • Partnership & Licensing: Source, review, and negotiate licensing agreements, in-licensing opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Business Case Development: Build robust business cases including financial projections, ROI, profitability, and market share analysis to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with Legal on commercial terms, trademarks, and patent issues.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs on dossier audits and compliance.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance on technical documentation
  • Coordinate with Medical Affairs on pharmacovigilance agreements.
  • Commercialisation Support: Facilitate brand launches in collaboration with brand management teams and operations.
  • Project Leadership: Manage new business development projects from initiation to execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in commercial in business, Life Science or related Science field.

Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare industry.

Track record in business development, licensing, or commercial strategy.

Familiarity with regulatory, quality, and medical affairs processes.
