Reporting to : Pharmacy Sales Manager

Job Purpose : To call on Pharmacies and Dispensing Doctors to promote within the Adcock Ingram Rx Division

Skills/Competencies Required : 

• 2 years’ experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative would be an advantage.
• Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point)
• A valid driver’s license and own transport essential.
• Knowledge of and experience in independent and corporate Pharmacy

Key Job Outputs :

• Constantly achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Pharmacists and Key Customers.
• Ensure adherence to product marketing strategy through management of stock levels, merchandising, promotional activity at pharmacies, and dispensaries.
• Identify opportunities in the market for new products and new growth areas for the business
• Successfully implement sales and marketing strategies
• Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, then help develop strategies and action plans to maximize sales potential in the respective area
• Respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries.
