We are seeking a motivated and recently graduated Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This opportunity is ideal for a young engineering professional looking to gain practical exposure in process engineering, plant optimisation, and project execution within an industrial environment.
Job Description

This role is based at our Cape Town branch and reports to our Process Support Engineer. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  •  Optimise plant equipment and unit operations through performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in and lead Management of Change (MOC) processes, HAZOP studies, and Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
  • Provide engineering support for new projects, including process evaluations, technical investigations, and project implementation.
  • Maintain and update process engineering documentation, including P&IDs and SOPs. 
Job Requirements

Qualification: 

  • Matric (Essential)
  • BSc Engineering degree recently completed (Essential)
  • Currently unemployed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
