Auction Nation Centurion is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to assist with the movement of vehicles within the yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and offloading vehicles, conducting daily forklift inspections, maintaining accurate vehicle records, and supporting basic stock control activities. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Move accident-damaged vehicles safely within the yard
- Load and offload vehicles from tow trucks and carriers
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete checklists
- Ensure vehicles are handled carefully to prevent damage
- Record vehicles entering and leaving the yard
- Assist with stock counts and maintaining accurate vehicle records
- Ensure vehicles are parked in the correct locations and can be easily identified
- Report any damaged or missing vehicles
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Basic stock control or inventory experience advantageous
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and safety conscious
