Job Description

Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated Cost Accounting Intern to join our finance team. The successful candidate will gain practical experience in cost accounting, budgeting, reporting and financial analysis while supporting daily finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost tracking and cost analysis
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist with financial reporting
  • Capture and reconcile financial data
  • Analyse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist with month-end finance processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Perform general finance and administrative duties

 Location: Successful candidates will be placed across various Renew-It Group entities based in Greenstone, Edenvale, Rivonia, Randburg, Sandton, and Wynberg.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in:

  • Cost & Management Accounting
  • Management Accounting
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Computer literate, especially MS Excel
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • No previous work experience required
