About the Role

Straighthrough Procurement Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Debtors Clerk to join our finance team in Roodepoort. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the debtors function, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting effective cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full debtor's function
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and collections
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account queries
• Allocate payments and maintain accurate debtor records
• Prepare debtors reports and account reconciliations
• Ensure all debtor accounts are updated and accurately maintained
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding outstanding payments
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial administration
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant Financial Certificate Diploma or Degree
• Minimum 4 - 5 year's experience as a Debtors Clerk

Strong experience in:

• Debtors administration
• Collections
• Account reconciliations
• Account management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence
• Reside in Roodepoort or surrounding areas
