Job Description

To offload containers safely and efficiently, ensuring that stock is handled with care, sorted accurately, and transferred into the receiving process in accordance with company procedures. The role supports effective warehouse operations by maintaining productivity, accuracy, safety, and good housekeeping standards.

Job Requirements

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Basic computer literacy.

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Offload containers safely and efficiently.

  • Sort and organise stock according to receiving procedures.

  • Perform general receiving duties as required.

  • Handle goods carefully to prevent damage and stock losses.

  • Capture and complete receiving transactions accurately on Amtrack and/or other relevant systems.

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and workplace organisation.

  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.

  • Assist in other warehouse positions or departments when required.
