Job Description

Senwes is looking for a Junior Buyer: Centralised Procurement to support the efficient, economical, and compliant procurement of goods and services across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine purchasing activities, supplier liaison, purchase order administration, and ensuring procurement processes align with company policies while supporting operational requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Procurement of goods and services.
  • Supplier management and database maintenance.
  • Order expediting and supplier follow-up.
  • Contract implementation and stock availability support.
  • Stakeholder communication and client service.
  • Procurement administration and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and documentation while preparing reports and ensuring compliance with procurement procedures.
Job Requirements

Qualifications and experience: National Senior Certificate with 2-3 years of relevant procurement, buying, administration, or supply chain experience. National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 years’ relevant procurement, buying, administration, or supply chain experience. Working knowledge of procurement principles and purchasing processes. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience will be advantageous).

Skills:  Strong administrative and organisational skills. High attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
