Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic, creative hardworking professional to join the HR Team. To provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department ensuring efficient delivery of HR processes and services. 

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Maintain and update employee records, both electronically and in physical personnel files.
  • Prepare HR documentation such as offers, employment contracts, confirmation letters, and HR correspondence.
  • Ensure employee documentation is complete and compliant with internal policies and labour legislation.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Handling general HR queries from employees
  • Supporting HRBPs and the HRM with administrative tasks
  • Assist with recruitment administration including posting vacancies, coordinating interviews, and preparing interview packs.
  • Conduct reference checks where required.
  • Ensure all recruitment documentation is properly filed.
  • Prepare documentation and maintain records related to employee relations matters.
  • Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee relations documentation.
  • Capture and maintain employee information on the HR information system (SAGE).
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
  • Generate HR reports as required by management.
  • Assist with HR audits and ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
Job Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • National Diploma/Degree in HR or related Human Science qualification
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience working in an HR administrative role.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Office and HR Systems)
  • Understanding of South African labour legislation including, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act & Employment Equity Act
