Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring effective resource planning, inventory control, service delivery, compliance and administrative activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations: Manage receiving, testing, stocking, picking and dispatching activities.
- Ordering: Liaise with Buyers and raise requisitions for maintenance, services and non-production requirements.
- Administration & Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies and shortages, minimise obsolete and redundant stock, and coordinate cycle counts and annual stock counts. Policies & Processes: Implement and enforce SOPs, systems, policies and procedures.
- Planning: Align warehouse capacity and operational requirements with production needs and ensure adherence to agreed plans.
- Financial Management: Provide input into operational budget requirements and manage delegated budgets.
- People Management: Provide day-to-day direction, manage team performance, overtime, absenteeism and IR matters.
- Governance & Compliance: Support risk-based compliance and ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics or arelated field.
Experience:
3–5 years' experience in Logistics, preferably with experience in warehouse operations and inventory
management.
