Job Description

Job Requirements

The College invites applications for the above-mentioned position which will be available from 01 January 2027.  Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who possess the skills, coaching expertise and passion for sports are encouraged to apply.

 

Requirements for this position are:

  • Availability to conduct both Morning and afternoon sessions.
  • Commitment to attend and actively participate in all scheduled training sessions.
  • Availability to work collaboratively with the Director of Sport Science and the broader sports department.
  • A commitment to the individual and holistic development of students, supporting their growth as responsible young people and High-performing athletes.

     

    The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant coaching experience.
  • A strong sporting background, with a proven passion for athlete development.
  • Competitive Playing experience beyond matric level and /or coaching experience within a school, university or club environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in Strength and Conditioning,Sport Science, Sports Administration or a related field will be advantageous.
  • A sound understanding of and commitment to the ethos of an independent school, including participation in

    co-curricular activities and pastoral activities.

  • Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate

 (police clearance).
