Job Description

As our Cleaning Services division continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Site Managers to lead site operations, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional service in line with customer, quality, and compliance standards.

Job Specification: 

  • Manage and coordinate all operational functions and activities on site.
  • Ensure the daily delivery of a Food Safe Facility in line with customer requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct and oversee site inspections, microbiological monitoring, internal audits, and the management of customer feedback.
  • Manage site budgets and ensure man-hours are effectively managed in accordance with approved shift schedules.
  • Lead and manage site employees, including addressing and resolving HR-related matters.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to enhance skills, performance, and operational capability.
  • Drive Occupational Health and Safety standards on site and identify opportunities to improve safety processes and compliance.
  • Ensure internal audits are completed in accordance with daily operational requirements.
  • Investigate and close out non-conformances, including out-of-specification microbiological results, and ensure timely follow-up on NCRs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and engagement.
  • Support regional recruitment activities as required.
  • Assist with coordinating and implementing training interventions at site level
Job Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Grade 12. 
  • Experience in the FMCG and/or cleaning industry is advantageous.
  • 2 years' previous experience managing and overseeing a staff complement of 30+ employees.
  • Good technical and maintenance knowledge, with an understanding of basic equipment and maintenance requirements
  • Experience working with a Hygiene Quality Management System is advantageous. 
  • A willingness to travel.? 
  • Good command of the English Language. 
  • High-Quality administrative skills required. 
  • Be flexible to work at various sites as requested on short notice.

The successful incumbent must have the following skill sets: 

  • Must be comfortable with the Ecowize culture and values.  
  • Able to work a strict shift position and willing to work over weekends. 
  • Experience in the food production industry. 
  • Able to manage a strict operational flow.  
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines. 
  • High work standards, energetic and driven. 
  • Excellent communication skills (English Command). 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.  
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Customer centric.
