The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that agricultural equipment is efficiently repaired, serviced and maintained to required standards, while providing hands-on support to Technicians in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

AFGRI Equipment is looking for a Foreman to join our team in Middelburg, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that agricultural equipment is efficiently repaired, serviced and maintained to required standards, while providing hands-on support to Technicians in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

  • Grade 12
  • Qualified Mechanisation Technician
  • Valid driver’s license

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE  

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as a qualified Mechanisation Technician, of which at least 4 years must include experience working with John Deere agricultural equipment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

  • Perform repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on agricultural equipment.
  • Provide general supervision and ensure work is completed according to required standards.
  • Identify and manage operational, safety and equipment-related risks.
  • Deliver professional and responsive customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop and working environment.
