The individual in the role is required to maintain the Generator and Trucks. The individual is also required to service, conduct preventative maintenance and on set repairs when required.
Repairs and Services
Conducting assessments, preventative maintenance and/or repairs and maintenance of the Generators, Trucks and Vehicles in accordance with the scheduled services.
Performing load testing Generators on a load bank prior to gear checks.
Maintaining records of all load bank testing done for insurance purposes.
Quality Control
Maintaining service records and ensuring that the various components of the Trucks and Generators are replaced.
Stakeholder Relationships
Building, supporting and maintaining interpersonal and team relationships to ensure stable working environment and achievement of team objectives.
Assisting the Supervisor: On Set with scheduling generators to productions while ensuring that the correct capacities are allocated to the production.
Qualifications
National Senior Certificate (NQF Level - 4) - Essential
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) - Essential
Experience
4 years in Mechanic/Technician - Essential
Drivers Licenses - Essential
Language Proficiency
English - Intermediate
Technology Proficiency
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Basic
