Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure the accurate and timely picking, packing, and handling of stock to support efficient warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Performance Areas

• Accurately pick, pack and/or check products in accordance with scanner.
• Ensure that meet weekly productivity targets set out.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Pack goods safely to avoid damages.
• Assist in other positions and/or departments as and when operationally required.
• Comply with health and safety as well as PPE rules and regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping in accordance with rules and regulations
• Assist in other positions and departments in accordance with operational requirements.
• Adhere to Safety regulations and report any safety irregularities to management.
• Adhere to the companies PPE policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum of (2) years working experience in the warehouse of in a similar environment
• Working knowledge of WMS, with exposure to scale WMS and Amtrack
• Computer literacy will be an advantage.
• Ability to handle repetitive work.
• Ability to work with RF scanners
• Must be available to work overtime, extended shifts and weekends as required.
