We are seeking a dynamic, solutions-driven Manager: Human Resources, reporting to and providing support to the Head Human Resources, to lead our day-to-day end-to-end HR operations and partner closely with line managers.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
- HR Service Delivery & Line Management Partnering
- Serve as a trusted advisor to line managers, providing expert coaching, guidance, and people solutions.
- Collaborate with line leadership to strengthen workplace culture, boost morale, and drive staff retention.
- Oversee the efficient resolution of daily operational HR service queries.
- Recruitment and Selection
- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes to attract high-calibre talent.
- Partner with line managers to build robust pipelines, design effective assessment frameworks, and ensure optimal competency profiling.
- Employee Lifecycle and Payroll Administration
- Oversee seamless end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from smooth onboarding workflows to professional offboarding and exit procedures.
- Supervise human resource records management and provide critical leadership inputs to ensure seamless payroll and benefits administration.
- Employee Relations (ER)
- Manage complex Employee Relations matters with high sensitivity, fairness, and professionalism.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on South African employment legislation.
- Performance Management & Employment Equity
- Drive the operational rollout of performance management frameworks, coaching line managers on constructive performance conversations and development plans.
- Champion and drive Employment Equity (EE) planning, and compliance initiatives.
- Compliance, Quality and Governance
- Ensure strict alignment of all internal HR policies with statutory requirements, including the LRA, BCEA, and EEA.
- Manage statutory HR reporting, maintain audit readiness, and leverage HRIS analytics to support clean corporate governance and decision making.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Labour Law, or a related field (plus Matric Certificate).
- 4–6 years of Senior HR Generalist or HRBP experience, with a proven, track record in managing complex Employee Relations.
- Expert-level proficiency with HRIS, time/attendance management systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
- Prior experience navigating a unionised workforce or working within a similar non-profit/clinical environment will be an advantage.
