This is a full-time, on-site Telesales Agent role within a call centre environment, handling inbound and outbound client calls and engagements. The role focuses on generating new business and contributing to the company's revenue growth by offering Evolution Finance products to new and existing clients via telephone, email, WhatsApp, or any other digital channel. The Telesales Agent is responsible for engaging clients, understanding their needs, and offering suitable Evolution Finance solutions, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The product Evolution Finance offers clients is a home improvement loan that can be spent at over 600 participating hardware stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Telesales: Contact prospective and existing clients by telephone, email, WhatsApp, or any other digital channel, and process applications linked to relevant campaigns to market and effectively sell the company's product offering.
- Become an expert in the company's product offerings, accurately presenting product features, benefits, and terms and conditions to clients; serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information about the product offerings.
- Handle client engagements professionally across inbound and outbound calls, email, WhatsApp, and any other digital channel.
- Data capturing: accurately update customer information and record interactions on the relevant systems.
- Process campaigns geared toward application conversion.
- Assist with after-call requests, such as servicing, disbursements, queries, and retention.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with the NCA, FICA, POPIA, and other relevant industry regulations.
- Handle objections professionally and close sales effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through follow-up calls and after-sales service.
- Adhere to company scripts, sales processes, and quality standards

- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification
- Fluency in English and at least one additional African language
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
Qualifications
Certification in Financial Literacy or Financial Management preferred.
Experience
1–2 years of prior outbound sales experience, gained in a call centre or contact centre environment as a Telesales or Sales Agent, preferably selling a credit or loan product, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
