The role requires the driver to operate heavy vehicles responsibly, comply with all road traffic and company regulations, conduct routine vehicle inspections, and ensure that loads are properly secured and delivered in good condition.
Job Description
  1. Delivering Goods
  2. Ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed
  3. Preventing damages and breakages
  4. Supervising and Assisting with loading
  5. Daily inspection checks

  8. Supplying correct Quantities and Supplies

  10. Delivery Notes authorizations
  11. Collecting COD monies

Job Requirements

Grade 12

Code 10 (HV); Code 8 (LV) (<3501 < 9000 kg)

2 years relevant experience

Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)

Experience operating heavy vehicles and transporting goods or equipment

Good knowledge of road safety regulations and relevant traffic legislation

Ability to complete trip sheets, delivery notes and other required documentation

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physically fit and able to perform duties associated with loading, securing and offloading cargo

Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends or public holidays when required

Satisfactory driving record
