Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused Regional Sales Coordinator to join our Midrand team and provide essential administrative and operational support to the Regional Sales Team.

The Role

As a Regional Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the regional sales function by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders, quotations and returns. You will coordinate communication between customers, Sales, Operations and Accounts, while assisting the sales team with reporting, administration, scheduling and customer follow-ups.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process customer orders, quotations and returns (RMA) using SYSPRO ERP.
  • Maintain and monitor back orders and provide customers with regular updates on order status.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries via telephone and in person.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Regional Sales Representatives.
  • Assist with sales reports, performance tracking and general sales administration.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and customer follow-ups for the sales team.
  • Liaise with Operations and Accounts to ensure timely delivery of customer orders and verification of payments.
  • Maintain accurate and organised customer documentation, spreadsheets and sales records.
  • Assist with resolving customer queries and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders, queries and other sales-related matters.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Regional Sales Team as required.
  • Ensure all information captured on systems and reports is accurate and up to date.
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12 / High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, telesales or a similar role will be advantageous.
  • Experience using SYSPRO ERP or a similar ERP system is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
