Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing effective and efficient administrative and logistical assistance to the Provincial Director, the Provincial Leader and Provincial Chairperson, including diary management, preparing letters, reports, minutes of meetings and presentations, as well as providing logistical support and conducting meeting preparation.
  • Communicating directly, and on behalf of the Provincial Leadership, with internal departments and external stakeholders, and responding to relevant queries.

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role providing support at an executive level
  • Extensive diary management experience
  • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite and Zoom
  • Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for occasional business-related use

  • Written and verbal communication, with the ability to draft formal correspondence
  • Time management and organisation
  • Administration and attention to detail
  • Telephone and email etiquette

Abilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Process and understand complex and technical information 
  • Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations
  • Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
  • Work independently
  • Apply sound judgement and confidentiality

Knowledge and commitment:
