To assist the Control Room Operator in answering and recording incoming calls, monitor SCADA displays, and report deviations to the Control Room Operator.
Job Description
- To assist the Control Room Operator in general duties
- Adherence to safe work procedures and compliance with company standards
- Continuously monitor the SCADA system for deviations
- Assisting the Control Room Operator in answering and recording phone calls
- Assisting the Control Room Operator in communicating with engineering personnel on the radio system
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Package)
- Scada Operation experience will be advantageous
- Experience in the Mining environment will be advantageous
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Communicate with people on different levels.
- Valid Certificate of fitness, in line with inherent requirement of the job.
- Driver’s license
