A vacancy exists for a General Assistant – Donation Testing (Paterson Grade A3)

Purpose of the Job

• Perform maintenance on the Mielie washer
• Loads and unloads PK microtitre plates from Mielie washer
• Perform maintenance on the PK consumables, including preparing cleaning solutions
• Discard samples from the three laboratories in Donation Testing
• Wash and disinfect all sample blocks
• Responsible for packing and distributing tubes.
• Issuing laboratory coats to labs. 
• Perform basic clerical duties in the Donation Testing area.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate
• Good attention to detail
• Encompass a friendly disposition
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence
• Own Reliable Transport
