Provide commercial analysis and analytical support to the business development team with a focus on analysing business opportunities and project co-ordination.
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities in local and international markets.
- Analyse competitor product portfolios, pricing, and market positioning.
- Assist in identifying potential licensing, distribution, and partnership opportunities.
- Support product selection based on patent expiry, market demand, and company strategic focus.
- Prepare data reports, presentations, and business cases for management.
- Maintain databases of customers, partners, and market intelligence.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and healthcare policies affecting the generics business.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Participate in client meetings, industry conferences, and business development activities as required.
General
- Perform any other duties as requested for the success of Business Development

Job Requirements
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly generic medicines.
- Understanding of product lifecycle, patent expiry, and regulatory processes.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical databases and market research tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm/ M.Pharm)
- Business Administration (MBA – Marketing/Pharma Management)
- Pharmaceutical Management
- Finance and related qualification
