Purpose of role

The AI Junior Analyst supports business and technology teams by helping identify practical opportunities to use artificial intelligence, automation, data analysis, and digital tools to improve business processes. This is an entry-level role suited to a fast learner with strong analytical ability, a structured approach to tasks, and a willingness to work across multiple teams.

Context of role

• Assist in reviewing business processes to identify where AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools can improve efficiency, consistency, quality, or decision-making.
• Work with various business, operational, data, and IT teams to understand requirements, document needs, and support solution delivery.
• Help gather, clean, structure, and interpret data to support AI-related analysis, reporting, process improvement, and decision support.
• Support the testing, validation, and monitoring of AI-enabled tools, reports, workflows, or prototypes under guidance from senior team members.
• Document findings, assumptions, risks, opportunities, actions, and progress in a clear and structured manner.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, follow through on agreed actions, and escalate blockers or risks when required.
• Identify potential risks, data quality issues, process gaps, adoption challenges, and improvement opportunities during analysis and project work.
• Prepare simple summaries, presentations, reports, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of AI trends, responsible AI principles, data governance, cybersecurity considerations, and business process improvement practices.
• Understand the Risks and Opportunities that AI presents to the business.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, higher certificate or equivalent certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Software Development, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Additional short courses or certifications in AI fundamentals, data analytics, cloud platforms, Power BI, Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, cybersecurity, or business analysis is advantageous. 

Job-Specific experience

• 0–2 years’ experience. Internship, project, coursework, or self-learning experience is acceptable.
• Foundational understanding of data, systems, business applications, reporting, or software development concepts.
• Basic exposure to AI, machine learning, automation, analytics, or digital transformation concepts will be advantageous.

Must be medically fit.
