A hospital maintenance assistant supports the safety and function of healthcare facilities by performing routine upkeep, basic repairs, and daily equipment checks under engineering management
Job Description

 

• Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs

• Assist with electrical, plumbing and carpentry

• Fix air cons and call bells

• Hang and repair doors

• Repair beds and rooftops

• Strictly adhering to all policies and procedures relating to this job description including those within the Company

• Adhoc duties according to operational requirements

 

Job Requirements

• Matric compulsory

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role

• Previous experience in a Private Hospital is advantageous

• Work overtime when required

• Ability to speak, read and understand English

• Reliable, honest, polite and punctual

• High Energy Levels

• Problem analysis/solving skills

• Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
