Job Purpose
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and operational support to ensure the efficient execution of procurement activities. The role supports the Supply Chain Manager and Business System Owner by driving operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of procurement processes and documentation. The role contributes to continuous improvement and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.
Key Performance Areas
- Provide leadership, development and support to direct reports
- Monitor and review workloads to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with department processes, policies and work-level expectations
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate effectively with direct reports and colleagues on projects and ad hoc tasks
- Review and authorize procurement-related documentation and pricing, while also monitoring the quality and accuracy of procurement records, procedures and documentation.
- Prepare and supply excel data reports to support business and operational requirements
- Monitor procurement processes, identify improvement opportunities and suggestion solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy and functionality.
- Support business owner with system testing and improvement to ensure accuracy and enhance operational functionality.
Job Requirements
Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
- National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain and clothing industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an advanced level of excel experience (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas and filtering).
