PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To effectively manage and increase the PAXI customer base and products and manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure sustained product and portfolio growth. As a Business Manager you will also need to ensure that projects within your portfolio are successfully implemented within scope, time and cost parameters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that financial budgets are met for the Financial year
Develop business proposals to onboard new business partners
Engage with Risk and Compliance to ensure that all processes and products are compliant
Negotiate deals and manage relationships with suppliers and partners
Engage with PEPKOR legal with regard to new and existing contracts
Collaborate with the Marketing department to build dynamic campaigns
Ongoing project management of allocated portfolio within agreed timelines and through engagement with stakeholders
Ensure that regular meetings are held and relationships are managed with all internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all administrative work are completed within expected timelines
New Merchant contracts are negotiated and confirmed on an ongoing basis with suppliers and partners
Continuous improvement/growth on portfolio
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BCOM degree)
3-5 years of related work experience (Retail, Fintech or Courier services will be an advantage)
Excellent negotiation skills
Project management will be an advantage
Product management (financials/ business cases, project analysis)
Computer literacy (MS Office or G-suite) specifically Excel or Google sheets
