Purpose
The HR and Talent Intern provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team. This role offers hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration, while gaining practical exposure to HR best practices.
Key Responsibility Areas / duties
Talent Acquisition
Assist Talent Administrator with new employee onboarding process.
Assist Talent Advisors to book interview venues
Assist Talent Administrator with new starts access cards.
Conduct employment reference checks
Assist the Talent team with project-related activities and ad hoc tasks as needed
Human Resources
Perform other administrative duties assigned by the HR team.
Assist HR Consultants with settling in interviews.
Assist the HR team with project-related activities and ad hoc tasks as needed
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely completion of recruitment administration.
Adherence to onboarding timelines.
Quality and accuracy of HR reports.
Participation in HR and Talent projects.
Stakeholder satisfaction and service delivery standards.

Experience and Qualifications
Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
Certification in any HRIS (Advantageous)
HR or related Degree/Diploma (Essential)
Recent Graduate
Basic level competency in Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written English communication
