Sun International is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Shared Services Centre team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and statutory compliance across assigned business units and will play a key role in Sun International Head Office.
Job Description

The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for business unit properties within the Shared Services Centre. The role manages month-end and year-end processes, tax and VAT submissions, financial statements, and payment approvals while supporting audits and regulatory requirements. It also partners with stakeholders to improve financial controls, operational efficiency, and reporting standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • BCom degree with CTA (Honours) with completed articles, CA(SA)

 Experience:

  • 6 years’ experience in a financial accounting and reporting environment
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and the legislative environment
