Job Description

To safely and efficiently transport goods, equipment, or materials to designated destinations while ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• 2–5 years' driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Grade 12 (Matric) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle.
• Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes.
• Load and offload cargo where required.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Maintain delivery notes, logbooks, and proof of delivery documents.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Adhere to the National Road Traffic Act and company safety procedures.
• Report accidents, delays, breakdowns, or incidents immediately.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and collections.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, retail, or warehousing.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Experience using delivery tracking systems or GPS navigation.
