The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the used vehicle department, ensuring effective stock control, compliance, deal processing, and overall departmental efficiency.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative operations of the used vehicle department
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of vehicle sales documentation and deal files
- Oversee vehicle stock control and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, OEM standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate vehicle registrations, licensing, and supporting documentation
- Liaise with dealerships, finance and insurance departments, and relevant stakeholders
- Monitor departmental reporting and maintain accurate records
- Support operational efficiencies within the used vehicle department
- Assist in managing daily departmental activities and workflow coordination
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of previous experience in a used vehicle administration or management role within the motor industry
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and used vehicle processes
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office and dealership management systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
- OEM or dealership experience within the motor industry
- Knowledge of vehicle licensing, registrations, and compliance processes
- Experience managing used vehicle stock and operational reporting
